HelpRe: Paul or Saul?

I like Paul better than Saul. Saul is too Bible-character for me. I know that Paul is also Biblical, but it's also more mainstream.
That said, I do like Sol as a nickname for Solomon, so my reasoning is pretty flawed. Go figure.
