Thank you :) Yes, I love Italian names. I lived in Italy for some time, but not anymore :( The case of Denise was all over the news, even though it had already been a few years ago at the time. Ooops I didn't even know about Mascha and the Bear :O
Yes, I found a French ranking! A top 500 (or 250, not sure) until 2012. Then something happened, I don't know what, but I haven't found a list at all for 2013 and only the top 10 for 2014. Looks like they gave up on doing thorough statistics, or I just can't find them :(

It is the list for 2014. You can enter any year from 1900 to 2012 below and press enter and the give you a top (I think 250) for each single year and if you click 'prénoms par décennie' on top you get lists per decade.
