Re: Italian Inspired Names
in reply to a message by LMS
Hi !!!!Wonderful!!!!So... Gioia and Perla are used in Italy!!I like Perla very much because it is simple, elegant, clear and has got a beautiful melody!!Gioia..I don't like it very much.
It has got too much vowels for me..
I prefer something like Allegra or Serena.Riva sounds like a short form of Russian/Slavic name.
It is a real word yes but I think it could not be a given name...I also know that it is a short of Rivka but I talk about "Italian" use.Isola has got some chances...
It is more unique than rare but for me is a good name!!!!
It has got a good sound and also a pretty meaning (for example I call Isola a girl who I hope will be strong and indipendent).Ciela...sounds too strange. No.. It has no melody.
I prefer Cielo but it is masculine in Italian (Il Cielo)...
I hate both names as given names.
If you want use it as Esperanto name XDCala is very pretty !!!!!
It is a very romantic name!
I hope it will be used !!!!Imola is the worst name.
It is awful I'm very sorry. So:Good names (I hope their usage)
ISOLA, CALA Bad names/awful
RIVA, CIELA, IMOLAByeeeeeee
