Re: top names for December

Elijah Jonathan - I like the names individually, but together is a mish-mosh of "zhuh" and "juh."
August Noah - Normally August is nms (and I also don't usually combine 'o' and 'u' names together), but this is a handsome combo.
Micah Jarrod - I like the sound of the combo, but I just can't get behind the Jarrod spelling (it makes me want to say "ja-ROD" when I read it). Though it doesn't really matter, I guess, in the middle name slot.
Archer William - Distinguished, if a little staid. I have trouble imagining a little boy named Archer.
Leo Alexander - Fantastic.
Thomas Xavier - Also very handsome.
Jack Carter - Feels like a full name (I'm just not feeling the Carter love).
Riley Ezekiel - Quirky combination of names from different genres (somewhat trendy unisex meets... Protestant Reformation?), but I'm liking it.
Wilson Oliver - Wilson is a nice alternative to the great but popular William, and doesn't quite sound so "old" as, say, Wilbur (which I also like). Oliver is usually nms, but it pairs well with Wilson.
Cairo Asher - Asher is a pretty cool name. But I'm not feeling Cairo at all.
Lilia Adele - Like "Elijah Jonathan," for me the "a" and "l" sounds run into each other. Beautiful names individually, though.
Willow Sarah - Very graceful.
India Sinead - Wonderful flow; the names match in sound, but not too much. (I don't like Indie at all, sorry.)
Sasha April - Sasha is nms, and April is okay on it's own, but the ending "ah" of Sasha and beginning "Ay" of April seem awkwardly smashed together.
Ariana Holly - It's a very liquid combination, though I like the names individually.
Rose Molly - Kind of stilted, and the "Romy" nickname seems forced.
Zoe Scarlett - Very attractive. I imagine the bearer of this name would be something of a femme fatale.
Aurora Hazel - Not a fan of either name individually (especially Aurora, which is legitimately difficult for me to say at times), and I can't say I like the names together. Sorry.
Jade Autumn - I love Jade, and Autumn is okay, but I've never been a fan of combining two English "word names" in the same combo - especially if they both come from nature. It seems a tad... well, cheesy. This name is basically "pale green Fall."
Anastasia Elizabeth - I love Anastasia, and like Elizabeth, but this is quite a long name. I usually try to pair Anastasia with a short middle name.
Please rate my personal short name lists (the latter includes combos):
