I know an Ivory. I think her full name is Ivory Tuesday or Ivory Wednesday? I can't remember which. I like it, people call her "Ives" for short which I think is really cute.
Ivory has a delicate, fairytale imagery to me - a name that is pretty but impractical, like the names from folk stories are: Goldilocks and Briar Rose and Rapunzel and what have you. Of course it also makes me think of towers :) I like it as a name, and I loved meeting a real-life Ivory. I didn't think of elephants, soap or pianos at all when I did.
Ivory Amalthea
Ivory Christina
Ivory Winifred
Ivory Millicent
Ivory Arwen
Ivory Abigail
Ivory Imogene
Ivory Melusine
Ivory Miriam
Ivory Amelia
Ivory Lillian
Ivory Evelyn
Ivory Melissa
