Hunh. I didn't look it up before I posted.
I didn't know the tidbit about Ham, but I sometimes skim genealogies.
It totally makes sense. I guess if I think about it, most place names in the Bible are also the name of people from the Genesis and Exodus account.
I would still consider it a place name over a person's name though. Like Eden or Israel. Yeah, there are people with the name, but they are predominantly linked to a place.
