In the case of title, Donna and Don are pronounced a bit differently than the English names Donna and Don (from Donald).
Donna, as a romantic title, is pronounced do-nah instead of da-nah. Quite similar to the names Donato or Donatella.
The use of the title is outdated right now, unless you just mean a woman (Italian), but a valid connection.
