That's what originally turned me off to the name since I know it's used in gluten free baking. But the more it grew on me, the more I looked into the name and saw yes, the seed is ground into flour, but it's actually a flowering perennial that is named after the Greek word for "unending". So I wondered if it could be more of a flower/nature type name or if it would always be associated with the food product.
