Re: Victoria

I have a Victoria, it has served her well over the past decade with very little issue at all. It's a classic name, not trendy, and therefore not as likely to get butchered by those 'uneek' parents and misspelt in a million different ways. It's common enough that everyone knows it, but not popular enough that every second girl born is called it.
I too really dislike the nickname Vicki and have done everything I can to prevent it popping it's ugly head up in our lives, but every now and then people slip it in. Not enough of a reason to stop me using it though.
