Re: BA
Iona is nice.Question: Is the 'ona' sound of both names pronounced the same in Scotland? I ask because while I've only heard Iona pronounced i-OH-nuh, I've heard Catriona pronounced kah-TREE-nuh or even kah-TREE-oh-nuh where the o sound is barely pronounced. IOW, the OH-nuh of Iona isn't stressed in Catriona. And what about Fiona? I know in the US, we say fee-OH-nuh, but is it more like FEE-oh-nuh in Scotland?

Well I pronounce Catriona like Catrina! Fiona is fee-oh-nah to my ears anyway
