Surnames

Just to point out that you are assuming the Portuguese surnames wrong. In Portuguese it's the last surname (usually the paternal one) that is considered the "main" one and is passed on to the next generation - although many, many people pass on one of the other surnames or even two of them at the same time.
So more likely the kids would be:
• Alice Semedo Ribeiro
• Flor Solnado Ribeiro (I imagine Joana Solnado will give her kids that last name, her mother's, because it's a pretty famous one)
• Maria Cordeiro Ribeiro ( I bet they used another surname there since these ones rhyme).
• Tomás Ribas de Oliveira Cardoso (can't imagine she'd drop the more unusual Ribas, it's the one she is best know as.)
But again, it's impossible to fell the surnames each kid has because there are so many possibilities and it varies from case to case (often even within the same family!)

Sorry, I just copied the birth announcements from other websites. I'll keep it in mind.
