Well, it's good you gave your child a name you like.
No one's stereotyping your kid or saying he's not unique/free-spirited or whatever, but if you asked me to react to the name Connor abstractly I'd say that I don't like it because I find it ugly and trendy. That has nothing to do with people named Connor. To make any sweeping statement about people named a certain name would be a pretty dumb generalization, unless it was tongue-in-cheek.
