Finn makes me think of fishes as well. I also consider it a good thing. It use to bother me, but lately I've come to enjoy the fishy association. I think of fish fins, porpoise fins, shark fins, whale fins, and of oceans, seas, lakes and rivers. It makes me think of Huckleberry
Finn, which is a very water based book since it takes place along a river.
Fionn mac Cumhaill is also a cool hero of legend who gains knowledge from eating the Salmon of Knowledge.
My parents have a little neighbor named
Finn who is just a little over 2 years old. He's a cute little boy with a head of blond curls and green eyes. I think actually interacting with a
Finn rather than just seeing it around has made me have more love for it and to see that the fish association isn't a negative but a positive.
I like the name
Finn /
Fionn though it is a bit short. My favorites are
Fintan,
Finnian, Finnegas,
Fingal,
Finley /
Finlay and
Finn /
Fionn. I like
Finnegan and
Finbar but not as much as the others.
