HelpRe: Full name and nickname

It depends on what it is. I think that Eve is perfectly fine on its own, for example.
I prefer Penelope "Penny", but Penny works on its own, too.
I find Em lacking by itself and prefer it as a nickname for something longer like Emma, Emily, or Emilia.
I like Dani better as a nickname.
There are some names that I only like the nicknames and not the full names. I've never been overly fond of Katherine, but I like Katie. I think its fine without a full name. Same with Kate and Kay.
