Re: Jean

Yay! Sweet Jean is actually being considered and not overlooked, as usual. I seriously contemplated Jean Elizabeth for a girl once. I wanted a little Jeanie to sing to sleep with, "Jean, Jean the roses are red," and "Cheer up sleepy Jean." Jean Elizabeth is not the most imaginative combination. But I liked its balance.
My guess is that WWII Era names are the next wave of names to be rediscovered. Jean fits in with that. You'd be ahead of the curve. :-)
Combinations that you might enjoy:
Jean Virginia
Jean Elspeth / Eliza / Isobel / Ishbel / Iseabail ("ISH-bayl")
Jean Meredith
Jean Rosalind / Rosalie
Jean Patricia
Jean Bryony
Jean Adele
Jean Margaret / Margot / Mairead / Margaid / Margareta / Margery
Jean Sylvia
Jean Esme
Jean Astrid
Jean Carys
Jean Bridget / Brigid
Jean Abigail
Jean Fiona
Jean Ailsa
Jean Angharad
Jean Hester
Jean Eirlys ("EHR-liss")
Jean Alice
Jean Muriel / Muirgheal
Jean Iris
Jean Avril / April
Jean Isolde
Jean Veronica
Jean Estelle
Jean Annabel
Jean Christabel
Jean Everild / Averill
They please you, yes? :-)

I really like Jean Carys. I probably wouldn't use it, but I really, really like it. Ok, maybe I'd use it.
Jean Sylvia is beautiful, but oooo Jean Margaret is great!!
I'm letting Jean Rosalie sink it... I want to like it.
Jean Hester is nice as is Jean Alice. Oh, those are so, so sweet.
Thanks for the suggestions!
