While Hermione isn't unusable, a girl named that will definitely get Harry Potter comments. It's a very strong association. JK Rowling doesn't own the name Hermione, and the HP association isn't awful, but it's still an association that may turn people off.

I think Hermione is a nice name, though I also think it's a little show-offy, mainly due to the HP connection.
