Unfortunately, it was pronounced BROAD-lee, rather than BRODE-lee. I just - I had the same reaction. Why start your daughter's name with broad, of all things? That's just terrible.

I thought it was for a boy!I thought it sounded like a stupid variation of Bradley. What a terrible name! Ugh I don't know why they thought this was a good idea. At least she has the -Leigh part. Toad-ly Broadleigh?The poor poor child.

Poor planning. It wouldn't be great on a boy, but on a girl, it's so much worse. No girl needs to have "broad" attached to her name.Maybe she'll shorten it to plain Leigh when she gets older.
