hooray for Day

You're right. It's pertly offbeat and fresh and mod-spare. I rather like it. After all, if Evening is gaining some use as a name, why not Day? Day is also similar to the retro (and therefore apt to make a comeback) choices Ray, Kay, May and Fay. I suppose the drawback is that it can be rather word-esque and might require a few repetitions or clarifications ("No, it's Day. Like...Day. Like 'What a lovely day'...").
I think I'll experiment with some combos. It does work very nicely in the middle as it is short and airy. But I'll try to use it out front as well.
Betony Day
Day Annabelle
Day Eloise / Day Heloise
Day Lilibeth
Annabeth Day
Lillian Day (really like this, and I am not a Lillian fan)
Dahlia Day
Day Eudora / Eudora Day (another one I'm loving)
Day Rose / Rose Day - a bit phrasey but still lovely
Day Fleur
Day Georgette
Gloria Day
Gladys Day (also love this)
Hattie Day / Hettie Day (awesomely retro)
Ivy Day
Lally Day
Lucy Day
Day Lucille
Mabel Day
Day Marilou (eeee)
Day Miriam (another love)
Day Odette
Day Rowena
Day Vera / Vera Day (I quite like this one, very poetic; "true day", "faith day")
Zelda Day
Dang I am REALLY liking this now. I haven't read any other responses but rest easy that Day has another convert.
