I actually love
Marley. I actually do associate it with
Bob Marley, but I'm pretty fond of his music and I personally don't have strong opinions against his lifestyle. I can kind of see where distaste can come from though, and
Marley and Me could add to that for someone.
I think it works on either gender, but is generally less likely to be viewed as "trynn'Deighh" on a boy.
I actually like all the other names too, although I prefer the spelling
Maia to Mayah and I wouldn't nickname
Oliver at all.
