I actually like it better than
Robert 'cause it's not as over-used and almost kinda cute. Knew one in high-school who was quite pleasant.
Most of the names paired w/ it aren't my style and even though I quite like
Rosalie, I wouldn't pair it w/ another R name.
Roberta Vivian (and variants) is good though. So are
Roberta Pascale,
Millicent (I don't usually care much for
Millicent... big fat woman in charge of an orphanage image or rich skinny woman w/ really long cigarette and holder... however, it kinda works w/
Roberta),
Margo,
Lucille,
Hazel,
Genevieve and
Frances. It even makes
Lillian sound better. (not usually a fan of
Lillian)
