Re: Violet

Violet is one of my favourite names right now. I have trouble finding a MN that sounds "right" with it, but tend to think longer names sound better.
Violet Lynn - generally dislike Lynn as a MN because it is so generic, but as a family name I guess it's okay.
Violet Noelle - Too heavy on the vowel sounds for my taste, desite like both names
Violet Anastasia - I really dislike Anastasia, so it taints it for me.
Violet Winter - it sounds funny because of the double double syllables.
Right now my favourite Violet combos are Felicity Violet & Eleanor Violet.
Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
Let your heart be light
From now on,
Our troubles will be out of sight

I love the name Violet, as a name to go with it I'd suggest something old-fashioned, delicate and feminine. Violet Sophia perhaps.
Felicity Violet & Eleanor Violet.
Ooh, those are cute.

Hey, don't go stealing 'em... one of those is my future daughter ;)
