I do not find it particularly understated. I find this name very stuffy and awkward actually, and cannot picture it on a young girl. All I can envisage is a bitter, rotund woman in an 1840s-style black widow gown (a hideous one). I doubt it is one I will ever like.

It is also the name of Yvonne's mother in the film Heavenly Creatures, a very disturbing piece. While the character of the tragic Honora doesn't fit perfectly with my prior description, she is nonetheless rotund and matronly.
