I think it's pretty and elegant. I think in the musical it's spelled with an h too, but I'd pronounce
Johanna like Jo+Hanna. For the pronunciation Jo+Anna, I like it just how you've spelled it.
There's nothing wrong with the character in
Sweeney Todd, and I doubt most people would associate that name with that musical anyway.
