2. As above. I have never heard it pronounced any other way and wasn't even aware of any other pronuciation until looking it up just now. I am assuming SEE-sil is American?
3. No I don't like it. It's a bit weedy for my liking. I like Cecilia and can tolerate Cecily but don't like Cecil.Random question, if Cecil is pronounced SEE-sul, are Cecilia and Cecily prn the same way? I guess not, which to me, suggests that SEE-sul is "wrong".
