Re: Richenza
Um, it's arcane for a reason. May I suggest Regina instead?

Um, you're closed-minded.

No, I'm realistic. Think about the child as a person, a person who has to go through life with the name her parents gave her. Strange or extremely unfamiliar names are a burden. There is more to consider than whether the name sounds "cool" or "pretty" or "different" or "kre8tive".

I'd love to have been named Richenza. News flash; not everyone is or should be like you. My sister has a "strange, unfamiliar" name and she likes it. Burdensome is an attitude - even names you're familiar with are a "burden" sometimes because they're not familiar to every single person you meet.

So instead of my actual opinion, you just wanted me to tell you how beautiful a name it is?

I value your opinion but resent your mode of delivery.

Erm. Okay? Sorry.

You know I'm not naming a child, right? I'm a gay college freshman who won't even consider adopting a child until I've secured my PhD and a substantial vocation.
