Yes, I also became aware of the name through Victoria's daughter Alice (she changed it to Alix because her new German subjects didn't understand how a "ce" could be pronounced as an "s"), and her daughter, Alix Hesse who would become Tsarina Alexandra Romanov.Ten points to you!
