Re: Noelle

Does it sound like "No, Elle" or "No L" or something like that to you? Nope.
Do you think it's only appropriate for a Christmas baby? Would it be weird to have a little Noelle that was born in June? I actually have a friend named Noelle (though she spells it Noel) who was born in June. So I have no qualms with it.
Do you prefer with the the two dot thingy over the first E or not? I think it depends where you live. I would personally spell it without the dots because here in the US it would get left off most of the time anyway.
Do you pronounce it no-ELL or NO-el? no-ELL.
Is it too common in the middle position? How many girls with Noelle as her first/middle name do you know? If it's the middle name, what is their first name? I can't think of anyone I know with it as a middle name, and the only one I know who has it as a first name is the friend I mentioned (her name is Noel London).
Noelle, Luella or just Elle? Noelle.
