At this point in my life, Kent strongly reminds me of the character from King Lear. I think it's a very nice name, short and to the point. (I think it reminds me so much of the KL character because he's like his name, straight, blunt, to the point, honest.)
Riley's not as great- it lacks substance. Also, two surnames seems like a bit much. I think Kent would sound better with something stocky and classic in the middle. Kent Richard? Kent Robert? Kent Thomas? Kent Rémy? Kent Rodney perhaps? That's breaking my "two surnames" point, but I think it works because it's a strong, stocky name that can stand up to Kent. Riley is like...the Oswald to Kent's, well, Kent. Weak little stick of a name, totally gets pummeled just by standing up to Kent.
Am I making sense?
