Germany...it was an 80s name here, really really popular from the late 1970s to the early 1990s. I went to school with several girls named Nina one of them was named NinaLinda. I also know a Nena (NAY-nuh). It still doesn't sound that outdated but it isn't really fashionable here anymore.
