I love Estella, much better than Estelle or Stella (though I don't mind Stella, or Esti, as nn's for Estella). I had a friend named Esther--a name I also love--who was sometimes called Esti. I'm not fond of it as a 24/7 nn, but as an occasional one it's fine, imo.
