Re: Hazel
First things first, what do you think of Hazel?
Back and forth on Hazel. Part of me thinks it's sweet, part of me thinks it's childish. I don't love it, but I don't dislike it by any means.Any middle name suggestions for me?
I don't at the moment, sorry. How do you think it sounds as little sister to Xanthe, August and Adelaide?
Back and forth again. On one hand, it sounds just as old fashioned, but it also (imo) feels to be lacking some of the same substance the others have.Hazel or Delphine- which do you prefer with Xanthe, August and Adelaide? Why?
Hazel is much softer than the other three, so it stands out a bit for that. However, Delphine repeats the "del" in Adelaide (not a particularly big problem, I love names with "del"), which may or not bother you. And lastly, how do you feel about the (very) occasional nn Hazelnut?
If Hazel were my daughter, rest assured Hazelnut would be much more than an occasional nn (she'd fit right in with my dd Adelaide nn Ladybug)! Its pretty cute for a little one, potentially embarrassing for an older child. I like it.
