It's Lillian Scarlett Mahalia
Lillian for my great GM and GM (and me, per David); Scarlett because red is my favorite color and I wanted a little Scarlett from the age of, oh, twelve; and Mahalia for our ancestor Catherine Mahala (no I), who was a midwife during the late nineteenth century (I wanted to become a midwife, and Scarlett was my first baby born with a midwife). Catherine Mahala is the same ancestor for whom my mother Catherine Ann is named, so she and Scarlett have that link in common as well.Unfortunately, Scarlett hates Mahalia with a purple passion and claims she'll drop it from her name first chance she gets. :-(

I'm not the biggest fan of Scarlett, but this combo even wins me over. She'll grow to like Mahalia, I bet.I love your children's names. Thanks for all the suggestions.
