Being on this site does not make it a real name. Clinton is on this site--it's still a surname. Emilee is on this site--it's still Emily misspelled. Zoey is a kre8tyve variation of Zoe, just like Lyndsi and Britnee are kre8tyve variations on Lindsay and Brittany (which are borderline legit in the first place). A "real" name is one that has history, a meaning, and a derivation, for lack of a better word. Zoe, for example, means "life" in Greek. Zoey is Zoe with a Y tacked on.I'm curious--how are Lyndsi and Britnee real names? Are they real just because people have used them before?
