I think Stella is such a gorgeous, feminine name, and I definitely prefer it over Aurelia. Aurelia, for me, seems better-suited as a middle name, while Stella makes a lovely first name. I don't at all find it to be old-ladyish. I think it'd suit a little girl and will age well, too. Some middle name suggestions:
