I know of a few baby boys/toddlers named
Jack, but I've never heard anyone call any of them by a nn. I know a
Jack Ryan, fn/mn, actually (it's also the name of a character in a novel/few movies...Patriot Games is one of them, why can I never remember the author? lol). I don't think it would be bad at all for you or just his family to call him Jacky. He might get embarrassed by it when he's older, but if it's just occasionally, I'm sure it'll just be a term of endearment. :b My 44 year old brother is
Nicholas nn
Nick, but all of us (parents & his 2 sisters) still call him
Nicky constantly, lol. Poor guy. :b He really doesn't care, though.
