Any special reason you and savonarola have the same IP? nt

Don't use multiple posting names StephaniePick either "StephanieLovesYou" or "Lovely Dreamer" to post with. You can make sure "Lovely Dreamer" is put in the name line automatically by typing in the "Default name" box in your user settings.

I am so sorry! I didn't know that. Maybe I'll make another account...Lovely Dreamer...I like that...LOL :)

You can keep "StephanieLovesYou"...As an authentication name only. You can post either as "StephanieLovesYou", "Stephanie", or "Lovely Dreamer". We don't care. But you must only post under one name. See my reply to your brother below.

Then why didn't he include you in his sibling list?http://www.behindthename.com/bb/arcview.php?id=208266&board=babyPLEASE SEE THE RULES . . . specifically, Rule 2.http://www.behindthename.com/bb/help.php?board=baby#rulesYou can only post under one name. Even if you and savonarola are different people, you have already broken the rules by posting as "StephanieLovesYou" and "Lovely Dreamer".

He edited that after I first questioned it . . .He said he was adding his sister in, here:http://www.behindthename.com/bb/arcview.php?id=208321&board=babyTry reading the whole thread in chronological order before you go around trying to make people look like idiots!

Yes, I am.

What about Miranda? Miranda isn't her (?) real posting name.

My real-life name is Miranda!I would've used "Miranda" as my authentication name, but an apparent one-time poster stole it one month and five days before I registered.Your authentication name is different from your posting name. Your authentication name may be different from your posting name, but your posting name must always be the same. If you want to change your posting name, fine, but you have to alert us beforehand that you're changing your name and not breaking the rules.EDIT: Three months. One month and five days. What's the difference?

Well, I suppose you might allow Cliffton (savonarola) to post as Cliffton? (Authenticated my savonarola.) Now I'm going to drop out if this turns into an argument, and I'll have my technic-minded uncle short-wire the computer so he can't use it either.
vote up1
Yeah, that's how it could workCliffton can choose either "Cliffton" or "savonarola" to post with, but not both. It's entirely up to him which name he chooses. The issue here is that you can't post under multiple names, nothing more.

Well...how could that work? If he chose Cliffton, auth. by savonarola, wouldn't he be using both names? I'm going for a walk, and he's dreaming about pizza, so I'll be back soon.
vote up1
We already explained that!! As long as he's posting as Cliffton (auth. savonarola) every time then there's no problem.

Oh! I'm sorry, I didn't get that. (I'm back, by the way, and instead of daydreaming about pizza, Cliff is now dreaming about pizza in his sleep, or so I assume.)

Thank you, Chrisell *sighs*I was busy doing actual on-topic name stuff by typing up a list of girl names for jwalter.

Wow, that must have taken quite a while! I counted 48 names there, excluding those on the right side of the slashes.

Not really, actuallyI just typed what came to mind. I also looked over the most popular names list for the US in 2003 for some inspiration.

Not so . . .Miranda has the screen name of Miranda and the authentication name of Randee15 (because the authentication name 'Miranda' was already taken by someone who never uses these boards anymore). The point is that Miranda is consistent - she ALWAYS posts as Miranda (Randee15). That never changes, so we always know who she is. The board rules are that you have to be consistent.Miranda is the only poster to be named a board moderator by the owner of the site, so it's clear that she is following the rules.

And one more thing, Chrisell...My sister wants me to apologize to you for what I said about Joesph Ratzinger. Normally I wouldn't, but she is so pretty, and intoxicating...LOL just kidding about intoxicating.

Don't apologise to me - I'm an athiest. I merely pointed out the offensiveness of your comment. You should apologise to the Catholic board members in general, under your original post on the subject. And in the future, please treat other peoples' religious (or national, or whatever) leaders/beliefs etc with respect.

I was about to ask the same thing . . .They're authenticated differently (different real names and different birthdates etc) which would point to their being siblings. However, savonarola listed his siblings (here: http://www.behindthename.com/bb/arcview.php?id=208266&board=baby) and there's no Stephanie J Harris amongst them.

OOOOOPSS!!!! Yes (blush) my sister will be on that list as soon as I post this message. She is Stephanie Harris VI.

How'd you forget your sister though?I never forget mine. True, I only have one living sister, but I remember her alongside my two deceased siblings. This sounds a little fishy to me, now that I think about for the third time.

He was up all night last night singing to our baby sister. I know I'll embarrass him by saying this, but he won't do anything to me. Good thing too. :)

Hm... OK...I've been up for 24 hours straight before, and still haven't forgotten all my siblings. But I grant you that severe sleep deprivation can work differently in other people, so I suppose your story's not completely implausible.I'm still watching you, but for now I'm letting this go with my aforementioned ample warnings about the rules and such.
