I never thought of Charlotte as very popular and would be surprise to see it rise greatly in the next 10 years.
I am not sure why I like it, but I do. One reason might be the nn Char. There is a lady at my mom's work, not considered a secretary, but close enough for this point. Anyway, when my mom was new, Char was the one that helped her out, and they have a close relationship, despite the major difference in the company position. Anyway, even though Char has had problems and made mistakes, she has one child, never married and would do anything for anybody. I never really liked the name, but Char is nice in my opinion, and the relation I have to it makes it even better.
I dont know if I will ever use it, not really my style so much, but I would never discourage anyone from using it, and I would never say no to using it myself.
