Definitely Valerie. It always makes me think of the Steve Winwood song, but that's not a bad thing. Valene, on the other hand, is too "Knot's Landing" for this child of the 80s. I just know it was the name of a bitchy, long-running character on that show (even though I probably only saw the show once or twice in my life) played by Joan Van Ark.
