[Opinions] WDYT of Karla?

My best friend`s name is Karla. This name is spanish for Charlotte; for the curious, we live in Puerto Rico. It is spelled: Kar(as in car) and la, Karla (car-la). lol. Please tell me what you think of it! Wether you like it or not, be truthful.

I like it. Amazingly, it keeps most of the strength and attractiveness of Charlotte. More friendly sounding though. - chazda

i dont really care for it, my bro and grandfathers names are this and evertime i look at a name like carla, karla, carley....... i see carl and think of it as a boys name

In the past I've hated, but now it's starting to grow on me a little, but only spelled Carla

I like Carla or Karli ("white as snow" in Turkish) better, because Karla with a "k" looks strange to my mind. But it *sounds* very good.
