This may sound a bit harsh but it sounds like you are naming your children after animals (cartoon and real). To me Felix is a cat, Jasper is a dog (or dog catcher), and Milo is a from a movie (dog or a cat, i can't remember which)....either way you might as well add Otis.

I don't think it's that bad...
I've never heard of a dog named Jasper, and I've heard of Milo and Otis but I associate Milo with the boy from The Phantom Tollbooth, so I don't immediately think of animals. I can see where someone would make that connection, but I don't see any reason to believe that she's not serious.
