I was not aware this was a real name at all and as an American, my first thought was Voldemort. Sounding it out, from an English viewpoint, I would pronounce it very similar to Voldemort. Maybe it would be okay in a country, where it is native. Either way, I don't like it.

It's pronounced vo-lo-DI-merr (sometimes the v sounds like w) where I liveYou've never heard the name? I thought most westerners heard it at least once because of Zelenskyy.
Still seems too similar to me, but I'm a huge Harry Potter fan. I've definitely never seen it written and I don't think I've heard it said. I think most of the time Zelenskyy's first name isn't mentioned.
