[Opinions] Astraea in the wild!
Sort of. I came across one online but it is indeed her name and not an online alias. I kind of love it, a lot, I already liked it, but seeing it on an actual human being combusted my soul. I'm already a big fan of the Ast- names cluster but this might make it more palpable. WDYT? Which of the Ast- or -Ast- names do you like?
My Ast favorites:
Astrid
Astrild
Astoria
Asteria
Asta
Astra
Astraea
Astris
Astacia
Astara
Astaria
Astarael
Ástrida
Astriel
Asterion (love so much)
Asterius
Astérix
Astrophel (love so much)
Asțamyr
Asteropaeus
Astraeus
Astriel
Astreu
Astro
If it still counts:
Adrastea
Adastra
Adrasteia
Alastríona
Alastair
Anastas
Bastian
Castiel
Castille

How is everyone pronouncing Astraea?
like aSTRAYa (astrah-eh-ah), like aSTRIEa (rhyme Gaia- astrah-ee-ah)? or like aSTREEa?
If it's the first one, I just don't like it ... word association with "stray" is too strong, for me.
I think it's neat if it's the second or third one. I like Astraia more than Astraea because to me it looks more like it's aSTRIEa.
Of Ast- names I like Astara okay.
Not really all that into the sound of them.
but Astraea is an interesting and cool name regardless.

This girl pronounced it similar to Spanish Estrella, with the ll making the y sound. I pronounce them fairly similarly too. It's not exact, but pretty close. I was actually gonna make a poll comparing them as a result.

Astraea is stunning!
I like/love most names on your list and I’ll add Aster to it
I know real sisters named Antigone and Thalassa (both in their 50s). Their other sister has a greek mythology name as well but I can’t remember it at the moment 😓 Hemera maybe? I will ask their father.
