[Opinions] Brogan
I was shopping with my mom, and the store employee who helped us was a girl named Brogan. What do you think of it on a girl?

It's a shoe. What a hideous thing to do to a girl. Damn, people are dumb.
Ugly.
Just the sound of it, and the suspiciously close to Rogan - i.e. Joe Rogan.
Just an ugly-sounding name.

The meaning of "little shoe" is adorable, but I think this would work best as a name for a pet, honestly. It would be a good dog name.
I can see how it shifted to use for girls, via Morgan and Logan, but it's just not a very nice sound to me.

As an Australian, the name Brogan reminds me too much of the Aussie slang word "bogan", which means "an uncouth or unsophisticated person regarded as being of low social status". Some would compare bogan to the UK's "chav" or maybe the US' "redneck".
So yeah, I wouldn't use it.

I barely like it on a boy. It definitely doesn’t sound feminine at all. I think the only reason I even entertain that it could be okay for a boy is that it sounds similar to my mom’s maiden name and if I could get myself to like it more it would be a nice tribute or honoring name if I ever had a boy (in the middle name spot only.) I hope she has a sense of humor because she is probably called bro or bruh all the time.
It's hideous. I think of bogan, bros, and Joe Rogan.
Absolutely hideous and tragic. Doubly so in a girl. Logan wouldn't have been as bad on a girl in comparison.
Don't like it at all
It's ugly as homemade sin on a boy, doubly so on a girl. It's a big clunky heavy shoe.
I don’t like this name on a girl at all.
*groan* Could hardly be uglier imo. But it does sound like a name, enough that if I knew a gal named Brogan I think I'd just adapt to it, and start thinking of it as I do Morgan. Same genre, just - uglier. Shoes. I pictured you shopping with your mom for shoes, with Brogan as the employee who fetched your size to try on, lol.
I am so sorry to that girl, but it sounds like a troll name. It's horrid on anyone. There are so many beautiful names out there, why would Brogan ever be a top choice?
