I can see Lovisa, though I'd prefer Louisa or just good old Louise. Alovisa is an unappealing hybrid. As for Amena - no. Just, no. However hard I try, I can find no justification for it at all.

Oh they're horrible. I think the author just liked the "lov" part.

There's something slightly off to me about them - I prefer Lovisa / Louisa and Amina / Aminah.

I agree! They are 18th century when this was published creative spellings.
