I've always liked Cedric: it seems calm and positive. The fact that it starts with the same C- sound as Cecil and Cyril probably doesn't do it any favours, but doesn't bother me at all.

I posted thing after watching Paternity Court where it was pronouced KED-rick.
Anyone is free to name their child Xptcrmlw and explain that it's pronounced like Annabel. But that doesn't make it right!
