Mother's Day is the second
Sunday in
May, which means its dates can be from the 8th to the 14th. Last year the list was released on the 6th because Mother's Day was on the 8th, the earliest possible it can be. The way calendars work, the year after Mother's Day is the earliest it can be, the next year it is the latest it can be (unless it's a Leap Year). So this year Mother's Day is the 14th.
Top tens actually normally change rather slowly. I don't expect more than one name to come into or drop out of the top ten on either gender's list. And I do think
Liam will still be #1 for boys, since last year was the first time
Liam actually beat out
Jackson for #1 when I combined spellings.
