[Opinions] Re: Alexia and Juliana
Alexia is a word in its own right, that describes someone with an inability to understand written language. Yes, similar to dyslexia; they come from the same root word. How common this world is to the general population, I don't know. As an optometrist, I'm certainly familiar with the term and to me, Alexia seems like a very ignorant and inappropriate name. I think it's awful.http://cancerweb.ncl.ac.uk/cgi-bin/omd?query=alexia&action=Search+OMDJuliana is ok, I prefer Julia though. Juliana is a little fussy and frilly imo. Julia has more of a simple, classic beauty.
