The one I like best is Betsy. Brisk and no-nonsense, cheerful and friendly ... streets ahead of the competition.
My daughter's mn, for family reasons, is Elizabeth. She found her fn (Beatrice, or Bea) difficult when she phoned-in to radio shows, so she took to calling herself Bess, just for those occasions. I was surprised, but it worked for her.
