Calling Cedric Sid almost ruins it for me. Not quite, because I really like Cedric a lot. But a name that length doesn't need a nn, and nobody needs Sid.

Sid is okay but I hate Cedric.

I like Cedric okay, Sid is good nn for it i guess, I prefer Sid short of Sidney for a boy,
How do you pronouncing it, Said-rick, or Seed-rick? other Just me being intrigued by pronounciations,

Reminds me of Cedric Diggory. I had a crush on him once upon a time, still kind of do. But anyways, yeah that’s the first person I think of. The name Cedric is okay.
