It's nice. I think it benefits from sounding like
Laura. It might have an over-blown (as a flower gone a little past its full bloom) or garish aspect to it, like
Ruby and
Florence, but that doesn't make me dislike it the way I do those names. The sound of
Flora just seems nicer. Since Pluma was mentioned in the other thread I'm getting a similar feeling between
Flora and Pluma. They're a little bold, like
Ava or
Rosa, but also seem gentle/natural like
Hazel or
Willa.
